KMCoin combines Proof-of-Game (PoG) and Proof-of-Work (PoW) to ensure fair and engaging mining:

Proof-of-Game

In-Game Achievements: Players earn mining attempts by achieving specific in-game milestones (e.g., completing quests, winning matches, performing tasks).
Random Selection: Players join a mining pool from which someone is randomly selected for a block hash attempt.
Fair Distribution: Over time, all active players have an equal chance to mine blocks and earn rewards.

Proof-of-Work

Computational Challenge: Selected players solve a computational challenge to mine blocks.
Block Reward: Successful miners receive KMCoin rewards and add a new block to the blockchain.
