All new Public Lobby players get one (1) free attempt at hashing a block via the “/trigger tryhash” command in the chat log. After this free attempt, you must acquire the necessary components to craft a “poisonous potato”. One (1) poisonous potato represents one (1) attempt at hashing a block.
To access the chat log, press “t”.
“/trigger gethash” converts a held poisonous potato into a hash attempt.
“/trigger tryhash” attempts to hash a block using the attempt converted from the poisonous potato.
A tryhash attempt can be performed every fourteen (14) seconds, you must wait for this cooldown to expire before you make another attempt.
It’s a 50/50 chance you will successfully hash the block. If successful, a string will be posted to the chat. If unsuccessful, try again from step 2.
Open the CMD window from earlier, and press ENTER.
Open the kittyminecoin app, click “refresh”, and your wallet will populate. If your wallet fails to populate, try hashing another block and refreshing again, otherwise; Congrats! You can now continue to mine KMC!
***If you get a log that says “'javac' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.” you probably don’t have the installed. Do so, then repeat step 4. ***
